Dr. Pinkins Empowerment Academy (DPEA) & Global Young People Prayer Force (GYPPF)

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Dr. Pinkins Empowerment Academy (“DPEA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and our global prayer initiative, the Global Young People Prayer Force (“GYPPF”), are deeply committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and confidentiality of all visitors, program participants, parents, guardians, and children who engage with our website and ministry.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed and stored, who has access to it, and how parents, legal guardians, and adult participants can review, correct, or request the deletion of their personal information at any time.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that is voluntarily provided through our website forms and direct communications. We adhere to the principle of data minimization—collecting only what is strictly necessary to fulfill your request.

A. Global Young People Prayer Force (Prayer Ambassador Registration)

When registering as a Prayer Ambassador, the following information is collected:

  • First Name and Last Name / Surname Initial (only): To personalize communication while protecting participant identity and privacy.
  • Age Category (exact categories: 6 and under, 7–9, 10–12, 13–17, 18 and over): To ensure age-appropriate ministry materials and determine parental consent requirements.
  • City, State/Region, and Country: To coordinate global prayer coverage across nations and time zones.
  • Contact Email Address: For participants under 18, the contact email must be the parent or legal guardian’s email address. For participants 18 and over, their direct email address is collected.
  • Parent / Legal Guardian Consent Confirmation: A mandatory affirmation required for all participants under 18.
  • Email Updates Preference: An optional selection to receive prayer targets, prayer schedules, and ministry announcements.
  • Optional Note of Inspiration: An optional reflection on what inspires prayer (visitors are instructed not to include sensitive personal details).

B. Book & Resource Inquiries

When submitting a Book & Resource inquiry for group orders, churches, schools, or events, we collect: Full Name, Organization/Church/School Name (optional), Email Address, Phone Number (optional), Book(s) requested, Approximate Quantity, Date Needed, and Inquiry Message.

C. Empowerment Conversations & Direct Inquiries

When scheduling a 30-Minute Empowerment Conversation or contacting us by email, we collect your name, email address, and any notes or questions you provide to prepare for the conversation.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely for the following ministry and administrative purposes:

  • To welcome and administer participants as Prayer Ambassadors in the Global Young People Prayer Force.
  • To deliver welcome materials, prayer schedules, prayer focuses, and ministry updates to those who have requested them.
  • To respond to questions, book inquiries, speaking invitations, and partnership inquiries.
  • To maintain administrative records of parent and legal guardian consent.

We DO NOT sell, rent, trade, lease, or monetize your personal information to any third party, advertiser, or data broker under any circumstances.

4. Safeguards for Participants Under 18

Protecting the online safety, privacy, and well-being of children and young people is foundational to DPEA and GYPPF. To ensure that minors are protected, we have instituted the following strict safeguards:

  • Parent or Legal Guardian Completion: Any participant under 18 must have their registration completed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian. The form does not allow a minor to register independently.
  • Parent / Guardian Email for All Communications: The contact email provided for any participant under 18 must belong to the parent or legal guardian. All GYPPF communications, welcome materials, and prayer updates are sent directly to the parent or legal guardian.
  • Required Consent Statement: Parental consent is obtained through the following required consent statement on the registration form:
“I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of this participant, that I am completing this form on the participant’s behalf, and that I give permission for the participant to become a Prayer Ambassador.”
  • Name & Identity Protection: We only collect the participant’s first name and last name initial to protect minor identities. Full surnames are never collected on the public registration form.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell or commercialize your personal information. To operate our website, process form submissions, and deliver requested communications, we work with trusted third-party service providers:

Website Hosting & Infrastructure

Our website is hosted on Vercel, which provides secure cloud hosting and serverless execution for form routing.

Email Delivery Services

Form submissions and confirmation emails are transmitted securely through Resend and Google SMTP / Gmail to our administrative inboxes.

Appointment Scheduling

When scheduling a 30-Minute Empowerment Conversation, appointments are managed via Calendly in accordance with their privacy and security standards.

Social Media & External Links

Our website contains links to official profiles on external platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X). Interactions on those platforms are governed by their respective privacy policies.

All third-party service providers are authorized to process data only as necessary to provide these operational services to DPEA and GYPPF.

6. Data Retention & Secure Deletion

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as needed to maintain administrative records of parental consent and fulfill requested ministry communications.

When personal information is no longer needed, or upon receipt of a verified deletion request from a parent, legal guardian, or adult participant:

  • Registration records and associated contact details are permanently removed from active administrative email inboxes and message archives.
  • Mailing distribution lists are updated to permanently expunge the contact email address.
  • Deleted records are purged from administrative trash and backup queues within standard operational cycles.

7. Parental & Participant Rights: Access, Correction, and Deletion

Parents, legal guardians, and adult participants have the right at any time to:

  • Review the personal information on file for you or your child.
  • Request corrections or updates to any submitted information (e.g., parent email address, age range, location).
  • Unsubscribe from receiving prayer updates or announcements at any time.
  • Request permanent deletion of all registration data from our systems.

To exercise any of these rights, send an email to PrayerGYPPF@gmail.com or revdrpinkins@gmail.com. We will promptly review and process your request within 3 to 5 business days.

8. Security & Anti-Spam Safeguards

We implement technical and operational safeguards to protect your information:

  • In-Transit Encryption (SSL/TLS): Our website uses Secure Socket Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) encryption to help protect information while it is being transmitted between your web browser and our servers.
  • Active Anti-Spam Controls: Our web forms utilize active anti-bot protections, including a hidden honeypot field (which detects and drops automated submissions) and submission-timing validation (which prevents automated scripts from submitting forms instantaneously faster than human typing).
  • Hosting-Level Protections: Our hosting infrastructure employs request rate limiting and automated threat mitigation to protect our web forms against denial-of-service and automated spam abuse.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website is designed with a privacy-first approach:

  • We do not use tracking cookies or marketing cookies.
  • We do not use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) or tracking pixels.
  • We do not engage in cross-site tracking or profiling of visitors.

Only standard, ephemeral technical tokens strictly necessary for secure web serving and network routing by our hosting provider may be utilized during your active browsing session.
